- Stainless steel AISI 410.
- (ISO C1).
- AISI 410 can be hardened, unlike other stainless steels. The hardening treatment makes the screws much harder than regular A2 screws.
- Being harder, these screws have improved drilling characteristics and head slot retention, which can be problematic with regular A2 screws.
- AISI 410 is also magnetic.
- TX head.
- The TX20 slot allows force to effectively transfer into the screw, eliminating the slipping (cam-out) of the drill bit.
- The head follows the Hobau shape – small diameter, countersink nubs. Thanks to this form, no separate countersink is needed and the screw can be driven into hard material in a single stage.
